Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this website and in the Divergent Dental Hub. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files a website or app places on your device. Some are essential for a service to work; others help the operator understand how it is used.
2. This Website
This website does not set cookies. We measure aggregate traffic with Plausible Analytics, a self-hosted, cookieless tool that does not collect personal or cross-site tracking data, so no cookie consent is needed. If we add advertising or marketing technologies, we will update this policy and offer consent controls first.
3. The Hub: Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the Hub to work and cannot be turned off. They are HttpOnly, so scripts in the page cannot read them, and Secure, so they are only sent over encrypted connections.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
access_token | Signs you in and authorizes each request. | 15 minutes |
refresh_token | Keeps you signed in by renewing the access token when it expires. | 30 days |
device_trust | Remembers a device you chose to trust during multi-factor authentication. | 90 days |
original_access_token | Used only when Divergent support staff view the Hub as a customer user, to return them to their own account. | Support session |
4. The Hub: Analytics Cookies
We use PostHog product analytics to understand how features are used. It is opt-in only and is not turned on unless you accept it in the consent banner. No protected health information is sent to PostHog, session recording is off, and the data is used only to improve the Hub.
5. The Hub: Third-Party Cookies
Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies on the sign-in page to check that requests come from people rather than bots. These cookies are governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
6. Local Storage
The Hub also uses your browser’s local storage to remember choices on your device, such as your analytics consent, light or dark theme, sidebar layout, and other display preferences.
7. Managing Cookies
- Consent banner. Accept or decline Hub analytics when you first visit, and change your choice anytime in your account settings.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in to the Hub.
- Local storage. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the cookies we use change, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will update the “Last updated” date when we do.
